Balancing the needs to retain the agile, responsive nature of the stock 130X and marrying that performance with the scale detail and beauty of the BO-105 CB, complete with it’s four-blade rotor head design was no easy task but just as the Flying Bull aerobatics look almost incredulous and unbelievable to watch, the Blade engineers have pulled off the seemingly impossible and done just that.

The Blade Red Bull BO-105 CB 130 X features incredible scale detailing that goes right down to the rivets, engine exhaust ducting and windshield wipers of the original. Its fully enclosed torque-tube driven tail boom also features the distinctive upswept tail gearbox section and the flybarless head design has been revised to accommodate the 4-blade rotor head of the original whilst the flying prowess that the 130X has become famed for has not been diluted in any way.

In order to execute the types of extreme manoeuvres that the Flying Bull BO-105 CB has become renowned for requires plenty of power on tap and the Blade Red Bull BO-105 CB 130 X certainly won’t disappoint. Its 2S powered 35C rated 300mAh battery drives a high revving 6700Kv brushless motor and this, coupled with the AS3X 3-axis MEMS stabilization module endows the little 130X with big helicopter performance and air-presence. Fully aerobatic like it’s full sized counterpart, the Blade Red Bull BO-105 CB 130 X is capable of inverted flight, rolls, flips and much much more whilst the scale looks of the BO-105 CB fuselage contribute towards enabling the pilot to retain orientation and provide easier visual focus at greater flight distances than the original 130X canopy-shod heli would allow for.

Aimed toward an intermediate level of pilot, the Blade Red Bull BO-105 CB 130 X comes as a fully assembled BNF completion level thus enabling the pilot to quickly bind the heli to an existing Spektrum DSM2/X compatible 2.4GHz 6-channel radio. The included E-Flite Celectra battery charger and the aforementioned 300mAh 2S 35C battery make it possible to be up and flying in next to no time and, because it’s a Blade, you can be assured that it flies as well as it looks.
