Lynx Heli Innovations is always looking toward new ideas and solutions that really do something… and has redesigned the standard 130X tail boom, introducing the innovative T.B.S tail boom system (Torque Bearing Support).

Lynx never stop to thinks and innovate, even it self project... The TBS "Replica" is the ultimate supported torque boom with fully serviceable function.

All component on the Replica edition can replaced and repaired, just adding 1g to the standard TBS system.

IMPORTANTR NOTE: Lynx T.B.S tail boom cannot used with standard (short) tail boom support and need extended tail boom support.

Any aftermarket extended tail boom support can be used, the minimum length usable is 100 mm.

Lynx  offer a special combo  were we include the Lynx Extended Tail Boom Support p/n LX0301 and LX0370

T.B.S tail boom will replace the standard 130x tail boom and support with bearing the torque shaft that will rotate smoothly without any vibration.

You will immediately feel the difference because the sounds of your 130x will not the same anymore.

Vibes caused from the torque shaft reduce efficiency and fly precision because are a lost of energy and affect the FBL system precision.

Once Lynx T.B.S tail boom will be installed in your 130X you will be amazed about the new overall fly feeling and precision.

Lynx T.B.S Replica edition tail boom is a composition of OEM Carbon Fiber square boom with a high tensile stress aluminum CNC case were we place the radial bearing and other components for the perfect function.

Lynx test many different assembly solution and in particular the position of the bearing in the boom assembly, in the end Lynx decided to place the bearing closer to the frame to eliminate harmonical vibes come from the supported torque shaft.

Released T.B.S Replica tail boom is the result of long and intensive test to assure the best quality and less vibe as possible.

Helicopter upgrades can be a trap – often they look nice but do nothing for function, and only add weight.

Lynx T.B.S Replica tail boom weight only 1.5 g more than standard boom… and add incredible features.

Details and innovative ideas and design, combined with strength, durability, accurate CNC tolerances, finish, and most important lightweight, will increase and assure flight precision, flight after flight, adding top performance in your 130X.
